POSTPONED - TPIA March Monthly Meeting A Transformational Journey Through Property Investing

Mar 17, 2020 - 7:30pm Tue 17th Mar

St Mary's Peace Hall Lounge, 36 Vivian Street (opposite St Mary's Cathedral), New Plymouth

MEETING POSTPONED:
The Taranaki Property Investors’ Association have decided to postpone the scheduled Tuesday evening [March 17] public meeting in New Plymouth due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) risk.

The Executive Committee have made the decision in the interests of the potential risk to the health of our members and guests.

Having 50 or so persons in a confined environment appears to be one of the scenarios the World Health Organisation and the government are recommending that communities should avoid and we have taken that message on board

We acknowledge that the probability of contracting coronavirus locally at this time appears to be very low. However, the potential impacts on the inconvenience and health of individuals who come into contact with the virus are high; so we have made the decision to postpone.

We hope to reschedule our two speakers for later in the year: Sieni Skelton-Richardson on her transformational journey through property investing; how she purchased 16 rental properties, and Zenvest Adviser Services Murray Chong.

The virus is a developing scenario so our programme for the next few months is uncertain at this point. As an association we will continue to monitor the public health advice and will keep our members and the public informed of our amended programme schedule consistent with that advice as it updates.

Yours faithfully

Richard Woodd

Taranaki PIA President

Join the Taranaki Property Investors Association for their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday 17th March, where we will hear about about A Transformational Journey Through Property Investing.

Guest Speaker Sieni Skelton-Richardson

Hear from Sieni about how she purchased 16 properties over 17 years and the challenges, successes and failures she encountered.

Sieni will reveal how she started and sustained her path against changes in the property landscape. “My experience shows you can still make it work,” she says.

Sieni (also known as Jayne Richardson) was born in Samoa, the youngest of seven children and the last to leave home. She says her accomplishments “shows that it doesn't matter what age you start; it’s taking actions and staying on the path with laser-like focus that determines the timeframe to achieve your goals.”

She now has a mission to mentor and empower as many women as she cross paths with.

Evening kindly sponsored by Murray Chong of Zenvest Adviser Services

Many know Murray as an outspoken, sometimes controversial local politician on the New Plymouth District Council, or as an active volunteer with local rescue services, where he has served 20,000 volunteer hours.

His business ZENVEST Adviser Services has been in operation for 20 years, and deals with mortgages, insurances and Kiwisaver as these all go hand in hand when planning for the future. That’s what he will be talking about. Hear him, meet him, ask questions.
