It’s important that you watch the Corelogic video recently circulated to all members, which is an excellent assessment of the residential property market, past, present and future, by Corelogic head of research Nick Goodall. Our webinar panel will be keen for questions arising from this.
The national Covid-19 lockdown that we are currently experiencing is having a significant impact on the NZ economy. While the fundamental demand for accommodation remains ( i.e. for human shelter) the emerging rise in unemployment may have implications for landlords.
The closing of the international border together with the internal lockdown has stopped tourism in its tracks resulting in properties that were dedicated to Airbnb coming back into the residential rental pool. Will the working from home phenomenon forced upon many during the lockdown lead to permanent changes in the where and how we work? And with the lockdown disrupting the operation of the property market, is the market going upwards, backwards or sideways?
Our panel will share their thoughts about the effects on the residential property market ‘in these unprecedented times’ followed by Q&A session.
Don’t miss it. Diary now: 7.30 pm Tuesday May 26. If you don’t have internet access, find someone who can help you.
