Calling all Landlords and aspiring property investors’!
The investment landscape is everchanging but the opportunity to create wealth through residential property remains constant. One of the keys to success is keeping up-to-date with the dynamics that influence this accessible but specialised form of investment. The well-publicised national housing crisis and the shortage of rental accommodation, together with government regulation to improve the quality of rental accommodation, clearly signals the continued need for the private sector to provide the majority of quality rental accommodation. This will be with us well into the future. The historically low-interest rate environment is also a positive for investing now. The Taranaki Property Investors’ Association (TPIA)supports the provision of warm, dry and healthy rental accommodation and ethical landlording. If you want to participate in this sector of the economy you need to be well-informed about all aspects of the environment within which it operates. Becoming a member of the TPIA, which meets every month, will help those aspiring to become residential landlords to gain information about how to enter the market, develop property financial literacy and to keep-up-to date with current trends in residential property investment and residential landlording. The next event is the Associations’ Annual General Meeting to be held at Bayleys Real Estate premises, 15 Courtenay St, New Plymouth. The keynote speaker will be Ian Little (BSc Hons, MRICS) Bayleys National Research Manager, from Auckland. Light refreshments will be provided.
Come along, be informed, network, ask about joining the TPIA
